Originally designed in 1963, the Clio features two opposing frosted opaline glass hemispheres held within a satin nickel-plated brass band, creating a bold geometric form that is equally captivating illuminated or unlit. The design can also be mounted as a ceiling fixture, adding to its versatility.
Each sconce accommodates two bulbs, producing a warm, evenly diffused light through the textured opaline glass. The exposed ball-head fasteners and brushed nickel-plated brass band lend a subtle industrial character, balancing the soft glow of the glass with refined architectural detailing.
These examples remain in excellent vintage condition, retaining their original finish with a beautiful age-appropriate patina to the metalwork. The glass shades are free from chips or cracks, and each fixture has been professionally tested and is in full working order.
